God changed my attitude and Larry's book showed the way. A spiritual readiness book is only as effective as the openness of the heart of the reader. Larry's book started revealing items the Lord could only reveal in my heart. While there were things I also wanted to fix in my spouses heart, I knew I had to fix me first. Once my spouse and I were ready to tackle some things together, Larry's book provided the steps and insights we needed to move forward. Our hearts were ready for God to remold us. Our prayer for you if you are considering Larry's book, is that your heart be first open for God to chisel away anything that does not look like Christ!
"Your Pain is Showing!" Is a must read for any and all who wish to be free from inner emotional and spiritual turmoil and pain. Curiously many people do not realize that the problems and struggles they live with on a day to day basis, can be solved with relative ease and simplicity. Many of the challenges we face in life can be overcome if one is willing to look inside ones self - and this book makes that happen.
I have known the author for almost 10 years, I have benefited from his ministry on a personal basis. The truth that is contained in this "guide for life" has literally changed my life, and the lives of many people I know and see on a weekly basis. The principles in this book, if put into practice, are life changing.
I highly recommend this book for individuals or even group study. Far too often, Christian literature will tell us about our problems, then jump to offering the promises of God. Yet few tell us exactly how to connect the two. In "Your Pain is Showing" Dr. Low makes that connection very clear and accessible to anyone, by giving practical instructions for the "process" that takes an individual from the problem to the promise.
I love this book and continue using its principles in my life to this very day. I also, highly recommend an additional title by the same author, "Genuine Christianity". Again, another must read.

When I first started reading this book I felt as though I would be just reading some information that I have already heard and would probably put it down, satisfied, but not really need to look through it again. I was WRONG! I couldn't put it down. I read the book thoroughly from front to back, and not just once. I felt like my mind was being refreshed and my eyes opened in ways I had never experienced! It enabled me to see through other people's eyes, feel their pain, and recieve a new outlook on life. It also helped me work through issues in my own life. I learned patience, felt peace and uncovered some hurts from my own past. The amazing part is that Larry's book walks you through the steps. It doesn't keep you guessing or wishing you could feel that way. It actually guides you through the steps to heal you and awaken your senses to live your life fully...and full of peace. What a wonderful gift! To just read a book and and learn so much! It is awesome to have Jesus on your side and this book is an exclamation point at the end! Thank you to Pastor Larry for listening to God and writing what you hear. Thank you for caring for all of us and helping make our walk with Jesus A LOT smoother! I recommend you read this book. This book is amazing. It answered so many questions for me. For years I struggled with inner turmoil but clueless as to how to experience any freedom from my bad thoughts, bad feelings and bad behavior. I desired with all my heart to see my loved ones free as well but unable to minister what I personally didn't have myself. This book turned a bright light on what was the root to my struggles. I have shared this material with my family and my church family and witnessed the lights come on for them as it did for me. We are now empowered by God to walk in perfect peace no matter what we face. This book was a God-send. Thank you Larry Low!
Excellent excellent book on how emotional pain affects us and how we can get it healed. Very practical and easy-to-use with great results.
Pastor Larry Low has a unique ability to take deep and difficult to understand psychological issues/conditions (for the average person like myself) and break them down in an extremely simple to read and understandable way. To me, this is only able to be accomplished by an author/professional/teacher who has thought through from start to finish thing's which he is able to articulate with precision and clarity. Each sentence in the book is well thought out, logical, and just makes sense...as if every sentence was meditated and thought out by the author...not just words on a piece of paper to fill space.
"Your Pain Is Showing" utilizes the Bible and Scripture as a sourcebook and manual for experiencing new life and freedom through Christ Jesus and His Spirit. A sincere reader will finish this book equipped and armed with the tools needed to be freed of mental/psychological bondage, pain, and suffering. Our deepest pains in our minds and subconscious derive from painful memories and lies associated with those memories which must be brought to light and replaced with truth (From God) now attached to those memories for healing...A step by step practical guide to walk through this simple, yet effective process, is provided for the reader in the Appendix of the book.
I can personally attest to the spiritual insight I've been deposited with through this book. Further, I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone! You will be blessed, challenged, and strengthed in your mind and heart after reading each chapter. In addition, I have met and even been counseled by Pastor Low and can tell you he is the real deal, and walks his talk.
